Frequently asked questions

The short answers, with a route to the detail.

What is DaemonCore?

A governed agent kernel and execution platform. It separates agent responsibility and authority from the runtime workers that perform the work.

Understand the product →

Is it a model or an orchestrator?

It is not an AI model. Orchestration coordinates work; governance determines the conditions under which work is permitted. DaemonCore is designed to keep these responsibilities distinct.

Clarify the boundaries →

What are Role, Profile and Persona?

Role supplies responsibility, expertise and its authority boundary. Profile specialises how or where that Role is applied. Persona shapes interaction without adding authority or competence.

Explore agent composition →

Does a different model mean a different Role?

No. Worker, vendor, model and session are separate runtime inputs. They are recorded alongside the operating definition rather than redefining it.

Read the technical reference →

Does it make AI deterministic?

Deterministic configuration and prompt compilation do not guarantee deterministic model responses. Evaluate the generated definition separately from the model’s output.

Read about authority →

Does it prevent prompt injection?

The published evidence does not establish universal prompt-injection prevention. A model can be influenced by input. Evaluate which actions are mediated, the enforcement mode and any tools or credentials outside that path.

Inspect the evidence limits →

What does RUN-001 prove?

It records a request being admitted into an Execution through an advisory governance gate. No model executed, the final outcome is pending, and the capture is unsealed and not independently verified.

Replay the recording →

Is GOV-001 another recording?

No. GOV-001 is an illustrative walkthrough of the architectural story. It must not be treated as captured runtime behaviour.

Compare the evidence types →

Can I install DaemonCore now?

This website does not distribute a runtime installer or grant repository access. Development commands are documented for people with an authorised checkout and a configured environment.

View the developer path →

Can I register for early access?

There is no automated registration flow yet. You can review the published material and contact the DaemonCore team at [email protected] to discuss early access or an evaluation.

Check availability →

Is this a security certification?

No. Architectural contracts and a partial runtime recording are not certification, independent assurance or a guarantee of deployment security.
